Ben Frank
Ben grew up playing AAA and Jr.A hockey in Central Ontario, Canada before moving on to play in the Canadian Division I College Hockey for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues. Ben has also scouted for the Varsity Blues and has been a Head instructor and director for a number of Hockey Camps, leagues, and organizations including Hockey Extreme (Toronto, Canada), University of Toronto Varisty Blues Hockey Camp, and Selects Hockey.
Ben moved to California after playing Pro roller hockey that was often hosted in CA as well as playing in 7 World Championships for roller hockey, including a Silver Medal at the Pan-American Games with Team Canada and three World Championship Gold Medals. Ben graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Physical Health and Education from the University of Toronto with an emphasis on movement science and received The Dean's Student Leadership Award for helping to build and coach a Junior Varsity Men's Ice Hockey Program. Ben went on to attend the University of Windsor for a Master's in Sport Management in 2005 and is now a full time hockey coach and instructor in Southern California where he lives his passion and trains beginner to elite hockey players of all ages both on the ice and off.
Don Johnson
Played 5 years At The Junior A Level Winning many High Level Achievement Trophies. Also Played NCAA Div. 1 Hockey For The University of Alaska Fairbanks. Finally Played Pro In The ECHL for The Long Beach Ice Dogs, Bakersfield Condors, and Stockton Thunder.
Jeff Bruckner
Jeff grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and learned to play the game of hockey on the frozen ponds near his home. During his younger years, Jeff competed in every sport and eventually played Club level hockey in college. Following life in college, Jeff announced that he would compete professionally in the game of golf. Following 4 years of competitive golf, he joined the PGA of America and spent 15 years as a club professional. Currently, Jeff is the CFO for a Document Retrieval company.
In 1996, Jeff returned to the ice joining the Kilroy’s Hockey Club of Las Vegas, Nevada. Jeff is one of the founders of the Kilroy’s Hockey Club, Inc. (www.kilroyshockey.com) which raises money and awareness for the disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. To date, the Kilroy’s Hockey Club has donated over $80,000 to the ALS of Nevada Association and other organizations in Southern Nevada.
In addition to Jeff’s work with the Kilroy’s Hockey Club, Jeff has been a skating instructor at the Las Vegas Ice Center, the Director of hockey for the Las Vegas Ice Center’s In-House program, the Director of Hockey for the Las Vegas Ice Cats, the Coach in Chief for the Las Vegas Ice Cats and has coached kids from the Mite level thru the Midget level.
